Structural Project Engineer

Engineering Consultants, Inc – Little Rock, AR and Northwest Arkansas

Opening for full-time, structural engineer to work at our office in either Little Rock, Arkansas or Northwest Arkansas.  We are seeking dependable, highly motivated individuals that want to continuously develop and grow with our company.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and complete structural engineering plans & specifications, and provide supporting documentation such as design criteria and calculations.
Complete structural engineering drawings for commercial projects using AutoCAD, Revit, and RAM software.
Work with structural design codes and standards: IBC, ASCE, ACI, & AISC.
Review & check work for accuracy.
Work independently while communicating and coordinating work with other team & project members.


Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with structural emphasis from an ABET accredited program
PE with 5 - 10 years relevant work experience
Familiar with Local Building Codes, Soil Conditions, Construction Practices, etc.
Availability to work overtime to meet project schedules
Travel for job site visits and project meetings required
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel
Ability to work quickly and accurately and be able to meet deadlines
Work & communicate effectively in a team environment

Engineer Intern
